This project is designed and managed by KZ Architecture & Design, combining contemporary architecture with materials and details adapted to Phuket’s tropical climate.

Construction progress and current works

The primary reinforced concrete structure has been completed, allowing the project to move into the interior finishing phase. Current on-site activities include:

1. Installation of internal partitions and walls to define living areas and private zones.
2. Commencement of flooring installation using climate-appropriate and durable finishes.
3. Preparation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins prior to final finishes.

Completing the structure first has enabled the team to accelerate fit-out works while keeping quality and schedule control at the forefront of the process.

Architectural intent and design principles

Villa Masjid has been developed around three design principles:

1. Natural light and cross ventilation

Large glazed openings and strategic orientation maximize daylight penetration and passive cooling. The design balances shading and transparency to reduce solar gain while maintaining views and visual continuity with exterior spaces.

2. Fluid spatial organisation

The three-level layout prioritizes a fluid connection between living areas, outdoor terraces, and the pool deck. Internal circulation is designed to be intuitive, with living zones on primary levels and private suites located for quiet and privacy.

3. Durable, refined finishes

Materials were selected for both performance and aesthetics—weather-resistant exteriors, high-quality tiling, and treated timber where appropriate. The interior palette focuses on warm neutral tones with natural textures to create a calm, refined atmosphere.

Pool, sauna and outdoor living

The private pool is integrated into the main terrace to create a continuous indoor-outdoor experience. The terrace and pool deck are sized for sun exposure and social use, providing generous space for relaxation and entertaining.

An internal sauna has been included within the wellness program for the villa, adding a premium lifestyle amenity that increases both the everyday comfort of residents and the property’s rental appeal for high-end short-term lets.
